About the publication
A useful place to start.
Windowleaf Notes is an independent publication about everyday indoor plant observations. We make short guides that help a reader understand a specific problem and keep a useful record.
How a guide is made
These pages were prepared with AI assistance. Each guide links to original sources, separates factual guidance from illustrative examples, and identifies the date those sources were checked. We do not claim a horticultural qualification, a professional studio, hands-on product testing or a personal experience that did not happen.
What we publish
We add a guide when it answers a distinct practical question. We do not republish news feeds, manufacture testimonials or turn the same answer into dozens of slightly different pages. Platform instructions and external references are reviewed when the underlying documentation changes. A date changes only after a substantive review or correction.
Corrections and limits
Check the cited source when a detail seems wrong, and retain the page URL and the specific claim. This launch does not yet have a connected reader-submission inbox. There is no form that silently discards your message. For individual plant care or an account-specific publishing problem, use the relevant qualified advice service or official support channel.
Photography and illustrations
The cover photograph is licensed from its named creator. It does not show our own home or studio. Diagrams are original explanatory illustrations. See the image credits and licenses.
Funding
Reading is free. Advertising may support the publication after approval and the appropriate privacy setup. No advertising or analytics script runs in this version. We do not take payment for the source links in these guides.
